Reduce Mouldy is a digital marketing campaign that TEN have produced for themselves. The product is used to help housing associations and landlords reduce the causes of mould within their property portfolio. We designed an Information Pack, Educational DVD and built a reduce mouldy website where customers could find out more about Mouldy and purchase the DVDs, booklets and mould treatment products, as well as merchandise to support the campaign.
The products have been purchased by various housing associations nationally and the campaign continues to grow. We launched the product at the CIH Housing Conference in Manchester in June 2016, where Adam from our team became our mascot ‘Mouldy’ to generate interest in the product. We ran a “selfie with mouldy” competition which can be viewed on Twitter @reducemouldy. The campaign continues to be supported regularly on social media platforms.
The design of the site is in keeping to the Mouldy brand, with a consistent use of colour, imagery and typefaces. We used the mouldy character with speech bubbles as prompts throughout the site to encourage users to do things such as watch videos and fill in contact forms. This helped carry across the theme of Mouldy giving the viewer helpful advice from the animation and brochures.
We designed and built a bespoke e-commerce site which allows customers to purchase products in bulk. The site was designed using WordPress so that we can easily update text, images, add new pages, add posts to the blog and products to the shop. All purchases are tracked though the site and auto responder e-mails are sent out to the customer which are complete with Reduce Mouldy colours, logos and the character.
